Oasis for children in a corporate campus

Partners Healthcare, New England’s largest healthcare network, invited DWAAA to design a new children’s center for their recently constructed headquarters campus. The restricted site dictated a two-story solution, which was configured to provide outdoor play in a rooftop “field house” along with a grand activity stair down to the playgrounds. Destination activity alcoves animate the street side of the building, and include a physics/ball play area, a dramatic play theater, and a double height light and color play environment.
